There is many reasons to admire Angelina. Not only for the talented actress she truly is and the person she seems to be – but for her endless support and work for people in need. She got an article published by The New York Times and especially during these times it’s a every important read!
*And when you’re at it, read an article by Angelina published in 2015 as well.
Refugees are men, women and children caught in the fury of war, or the cross hairs of persecution. Far from being terrorists, they are often the victims of terrorism themselves.
I’m proud of our country’s history of giving shelter to the most vulnerable people. Americans have shed blood to defend the idea that human rights transcend culture, geography, ethnicity and religion. The decision to suspend the resettlement of refugees to the United States and deny entry to citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries has been met with shock by our friends around the world precisely because of this record.
The global refugee crisis and the threat from terrorism make it entirely justifiable that we consider how best to secure our borders. Every government must balance the needs of its citizens with its international responsibilities. But our response must be measured and should be based on facts, not fear.

Angelina Jolie is giving a first look at her new film and longtime passion project, First They Killed My Father which she’s releasing together with Netflix.
The film is based on the autobiography of Cambodian human rights activist and friend of Jolie’s Loung Ung, and tells the true story of the devastation inflicted on Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge communist party in the 1970s.
The world premiere of First They Killed My Father will be held in Siem Reap on February 18, and will released globally via Netflix later this year.
An extract from a recent interview by The Telegraph (UK) with Angies ex husband Jonny Lee Miller where he mentions her and that they are still friends.
“That” is presumably the Miller-Jolie coupling, about which little is known, aside from the fact that they met on the set of the 1995 film Hackers, and that for their wedding the following March, Jolie wore a white shirt of Miller’s with his name scrawled on it in blood – 18 months later, they were divorced.
Wasn’t the hoo-hah surrounding their relationship just as big a deal? “Well, there wasn’t one, because we were both completely unknown. Angie wasn’t…it was pre all that.”
So they were able to have a normal relationship without the pressures she’s faced since? “Oh, yes,” Miller replies.
Does he keep in touch with her? “Yeah – we’re still friends,” he nods, and before I’m able to ask whether he’s spoken to the actress since the breakdown of her third marriage, to Brad Pitt, he throws me a small smile that says: “That’s all you’re getting.”
There is probably thousands and thousands of articles about the divorce itself and gossip about this or that. I won’t continue posting them all but to give you an example, I’ve posted a couple of links to someone articles.
Hope the family is going through these hard times in the best possible way and that the gossip should be viewed for what it is – gossip.
Angelina Jolie’s custody fight might be drawing to an end. After months of court battles and mudslinging, things are starting to favor Brad Pitt. Will Jolie be forced to hand over the kids in the near future?
An inside source told Life & Style that the courts have turned against Jolie. Following Pitt’s surprise appearance at the Golden Globes and Hollywood’s show of support, the momentum swung towards the Allied star. It won’t be long before Jolie has to allow Pitt regular visits.
Angelina Jolie has reportedly lost custody of her six children in her ongoing court battle against Brad Pitt. Rumor has it, the “Maleficent” actress is being forced to hand over Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, to their dad.
