Jolie and Robert Procop launch new jewelry collection

More on the new line of jewelry for Style of Jolie and the upcoming exhibition!

Normally in May, the eyes of the general public are focused on the bright clothes and spectacular jewels worn on the red carpet of the Cannes Festival. However, next week, the city of Geneva, Switzerland, will become the global epicenter of jewelry. And the reason is very simple: on the shores of Lake Geneva, it is traditionally held in May, the week of the largest luxury auctions, including precious stones.

Robert Procop is a discreet jewelry designer. However, this does not stop your creations from shining in the skin of celebrities or in the collections of your discerning clients. This man, who at the same time is so discreet and highly sought after, will be present at the event, which will take place at the Palexpo Conference Center, from 10 to 13 May. There he will unveil his new jewelry collection during the first edition of a new area, entirely dedicated to jewelry. The GemGeneve meet hundreds of exhibitors handpicked: international distributors of precious stones and pearls, jewelers, diamond dealers, antique jewelry vendors and etc.

Procop will be in a showcase organized at the center of the event, where he will unveil the latest models of the jewelry line he created in collaboration with American filmmaker Angelina Jolie. Launched in 2012, the line called “Style of Jolie” was known for its extraordinary Colombian emeralds, tourmalines and green beryls and its extravagant citrus. All pure and powerful. Jolie put her stylistic signature on the colored pieces.

However, the latest revelation of the line created by Jolie will be the big surprise: a limited edition of pieces, which includes rings, necklaces, pendants and also anklets, all in pink and white gold, with black, rose and crystal quartz spinels White. The new collection was named after the actress’s eldest daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, and according to the information she designed. All the pieces designed by Zahara will be presented at the world premiere of GemGeneve.

All the money raised from the sale of the “Style of Jolie” line items will be donated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict charity co-founded by Jolie. The organization has already completed the construction of two primary schools in Afghanistan.

Angelina Wows Viewers as She Expertly Pilots a Plane Over Namibia

Just a nice article by People magazine about Angelina and her part in The Queen’s Green Planet and how people have reacted to Angie being a talented pilot 🙂

Angelina Jolie is going to great heights for her latest conservationist project.

The actress, environmentalist and all-around Renaissance woman, 42, impressed fans around the world this week when she was filmed nonchalantly piloting and landing a small plane over the Namibian desert in the ITV special The Queen’s Green Planet.

For the new documentary, which she appeared in with Queen Elizabeth and Sir David Attenborough, Jolie spent time in the African nation highlighting forest conservation.

“For us to come here and say to the children, ‘This is why it’s important to plant a tree,’ that’s the biggest message I can teach my kids, and it’s something that they’ve certainly learned from Her Majesty and her message,” the Oscar winner explained in the documentary, which aired April 16.

In addition to the documentary’s positive message, fans were blown away by Jolie’s piloting skills.

“What even is this show?! Attenborough, The Queen, and now Angelina Jolie just casually flying a plane. Is there anything she can’t do?” one fan tweeted.

“Angelina Jolie is flying a plane over the desert nonchalantly. Is there anything this woman can’t do??” another echoed.

“Congratulations to Angelina Jolie being able to fly plane without even looking were she is going!!! Literally UNBELIVABLE!!!” U.K. television presenter Stephen Mulhern wrote.

Jolie got her pilot’s license in December 2004, saying that her son Maddox inspired her, PEOPLE reported at the time. “If I could actually fly a plane by the time he’s 4, I’ll be like Superman to him.”

The actress appears in a documentary which features the Queen and Sir David Attenborough

Angelina Jolie has described the Queen as a “lovely lady who really cares about people around the world” in upcoming documentary The Queen’s Green Planet about Her Majesty’s plans to protect the environment. The programme also stars David Attenborough.

Jolie – who goes to Namibia with her six children in the documentary to highlight the importance of forest conservation in Africa – explained what she told her young family when they asked why the Queen believes strongly in preserving nature.

“What it comes down to it you say to the kids, ‘You know really, you don’t know her, you can’t understand all that it means to be a queen and all that,'” says Jolie.

“But you try to say, ‘You know she’s just this really lovely lady who really cares about people around the world, and she really cares about the future, and she wants your grandkids and her grandkids to be able to be running around, enjoying nature and other cultures, and the importance of other cultures.
