One more new project for Angelina and we are very excited! She will be executive producer for a BBC news show for children! If everything goes as planned it will begin airing in 2019 and it’s called “Our World“.
Beginning as a 10-episode trial, ‘Our World’ will be aimed at promoting global media literacy among children aged 7-12.
Angelina Jolie has joined an upcoming BBC current affairs show for children set to land in 2019.
Our World, which Jolie will executive produce, will begin as a 10-episode weekly program aimed at promoting global media literacy among children aged 7-12. According to BBC-commissioned U.K. research, seven is the age that children become aware of the news and 12.6 is the average age a U.S. child signs up for a social media account, so the time between “represents a window to instill in children the value of asking questions and a chance to develop critical thinking.”
“There has never been a time when it was more important to introduce the next generation to objective, impartial news and factual explanation of the events and issues shaping our world,” said Jolie. “Children today are exposed to a lot of opinion, but not necessarily to information that is fact-based and reliable.”
Jolie added: “As a mother, I am very pleased that the BBC World Service is taking this step. It is also important to me that the project is global, and will help young people in different countries to be connected to each other and to have greater awareness and understanding of the news on an international basis.”
This project aims to be global in scope, engaging children from Argentina to Zimbabwe. It will kick off with an English version but the BBC will seek production partners to expand programming into multiple languages.
Our World will be a multimedia project with digital and broadcast elements, including a weekly half-hour TV show. The BBC will launch a 10-week trial of the project and is in talks with a number of international digital and broadcast media organizations interested in co-production and distribution. The pilot TV programs will be distributed via the World Service’s existing TV partnerships and via other suitable broadcasters internationally.
Angelina has spoken foundly about a memory of her belated mother Marcheline Bertrand using a specific powder from Guerlain when she was a child, and and it has now been press release about them releasing a limited edition of this powder! We find it very moving that this is happening and this is also one of the reasons which made Angelina want to work with Guerlain. Perhaps some of us lucky ones will be able to grab a little box!

Since Angelina Jolie arrived in Guerlain, the firm has turned to her. So much so that the latest innovation of the brand is to launch again “Ladies In All Climates” are precisely the translucent powders that Marcheline Bertrand, her mother, used on special occasions and that were, in addition, what decided the actress to participate in the creation and launch of the Mon Guerlain fragrance.
This is a universal powder that was created by Guerlain in 1897 (those in the photo) and this Christmas is reissued with an updated formula to nuance, sublimate and perfect the complexion with a soft focus effect, all with perfume with notes of Mythical violet of the signature.

Mother of six Angelina Jolie, who turned 43 this year, embraces getting older. “Wisdom, understanding, clarity of thought – all the things that come with age are also beautiful and feminine qualities. “I’d like to think we all get better with age – men and women.” Looking in the mirror these days, Angelina says she sees her mother Marcheline Bertrand looking back, which “warms her”. An actress and humanitarian like her daughter, Marcheline, who died from ovarian cancer in 2007, is the reason Angelina was drawn to fragrance house Guerlain.
Before being unveiled as the face of its new perfume Mon Guerlain last year, the Oscar-winning actress hadn’t appeared in a beauty campaign for ten years, but when chief executive Laurent Boillot flew out to Cambodia to discuss the opportunity, Angelina was reminded of her mother’s love of a particular Guerlain face powder. “She hardly ever wore make-up, but she saved this powder for special occasions,” she tells us. “I grew up thinking of Guerlain as this very fancy French brand.” Having directed last year’s Golden Globe and Bafta-nominated First They Killed My Father, Angelina returned to acting this year, voicing one of the characters in Disney’s The One and Only Ivan and filming Maleficent 2 in the UK. HELLO! caught up with her ahead of the launch of a eau de toilette version of Mon Guerlain to find out more about the new fragrance and how the brand is paying tribute to her mother.
A big update this time! We have gone through all the photos and videos related to Angelina’s work as a model, her modeling jobs in recent years and also some commercials she has done. Angie has done campaigns for perfume, clothes, make-up, bags, sunglasses, toothpaste and more – a good CV if you ask us!
While promoting Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life in 2003 she was also involved with movie tie-in campaigns for Got Milk?, Panasonic, Tissot Watches and Jeep. And another project that used to be really rare one was a comedy commercial she did for Animal Planet to promote the program Wild on the Set, this has also been added. It has been rumored since around 2005 that Angelina narrated a commercial for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Deluxe, but we have been unable to find out, do you know?
We have choosen to divide it up after fashion brands, fashion spreads in magazines and then unknown photoshoots and private sessions Angelina did to get photos to send out through her agencies. Angelina was the face of the Japanese make-up company Shiseido from 2006 to 2008 and she appeared in several commercials and print ads.
